This basket is handcrafted from woven palm straw and features long leather handles. It is trimmed with an elegant raffia that is handwoven in Ecuador which helps empower talented men and women to support themselves and their families.

Materials
Every basket is an original, with beautifully stitched leather handles. handwoven from 100% palm straw. Designs are painted in ink and paints. Slight variations in shape, colour and size are to be expected. Moroccan baskets have a distinctive 'lip' on the rear side, this is due to the spiral weaving method where the weaving comes to an end. It is not a fault, just a sign of its uniqueness.
Please note that we use the highest quality permanent inks and paints, but due to the flexible nature of the bags, colours may chip and wear with use. Treat your basket carefully
