This basket is handcrafted from woven palm straw and features both short and long leather handles, so it can be carried on your arm or slung over your shoulder. This is our largest basket and is shown here with a gorgeous blue and white stripe motif and personalised monogram initials painted by our in-house artists. But if you’d like an alternative colour mix that is not on our website, please email us at info@livandbeck.co.uk and we’ll produce one bespoke to your requirements. Materials
Every basket is an original, with beautifully stitched leather handles. handwoven from 100% palm straw. Designs are painted in ink and paints. Slight variations in shape, colour and size are to be expected. Moroccan baskets have a distinctive 'lip' on the rear side, this is due to the spiral weaving method where the weaving comes to an end. It is not a fault, just a sign of its uniqueness.
The baskets are hand painted and varnished and we do our best to ensure they last well for you. However it is a moving product so can chip and scratch with wear and tear. Please look after your basket carefully.
